Adding emphasis doesn't make a thesis (or even a good point). If you're a student, I could probably direct you to some interesting work that might...

The Campfire Marketing Game Show Day 15

gameshow_header.jpg

And a good Monday morning to all of you joining from the west coast drive time with the Wonder Weasel and Johnny Show!

Editors Note: Campfire takes no responsibility for the remarks made by Highly Targeted on Friday when he suggested that the divorce proceedings mentioned in the cease and desist order we got last week were caused by Homeless Frank meeting the mother of Daphne. Such a meeting has, to the best of our knowledge, not occurred. All comments are the contestant’s own.

Because of issues between her parents, Daphne is no longer able to join us as a contestant but we’re pleased to announce we’ve secured Steve Hall from Adrants to fill in for the week. Great to have you Steve, now lets get down to the nitty gritty of fun with marketing.

Fake Steve Jobs is suffering a brand identity crisis this morning after being outed by a reporter from the New York Times. What sort of spin would you give FSJ to help him overcome the deficit of being found out?

Wow, those reporters are resourceful. Let’s hope they don’t out me (especially after my comments Fri. as they seem to have struck a chord and prompted a disclaimer!) As for FSJ’s spin, I think he should propose to accept the following as his punishment: Steve Jobs gets to choose someone to write a fake column for Forbes under his (the outed writer’s) name. It’s just like Eminem in 8 Mile. If you strike first and offer up something witty that the guy you’re battling could flip on you, that leaves them with nothing to say at all!

That is not Steve Hall, that is the fake David Letterman!
